As the title says i basically have a problem with a young mollies attacking my gouramis gills for the last couple of days.i did remove the gourami into a tank on its own but it later died.Everything is good in the tank no problems at all and the gouramis was doing really well.anybody seen this before?

Hi Karen sorry to here about your gouramis, Mollies can be a bit nippy at times. The funny thing is, so can gouramis! gold gourami ,Ive read are best kept with mollies, as they can hold there own ,but then any fish that is weak or ill will be pick on and this type of aggression is what you could of seen , i know some times when you ask advice from other people and lfs,about compatible fish and they say that they can live together its not always,true i think you have a psychotic molly :l: my ram killed his new woman ...strange :foot:

Lol i think it is the mollies their really a nasty bunch lol,i just find it strange because that gourami was the bully of the tank but he didnt harm anyone but im think maybe he was coming down with sickness or something. Sorry about your ram maybe he wants to be single for a while.
