im allowed to get a betta what size tank will it need?

bettas can be kept in quite small tanks because of a built in gland they use to get air from the surface. but imo it is cruel to keep them in such small areas as some do just to show them off. the only thing YOU SHOULD NOT DO is keep two males together as they will fight to the death.

Id go for a nice 5 gallon tank a betta would be extremely happy in there.

i couldn't find any 5 gallons that i liked so i bought a eclipse 3 gallon tank
