MEDIUM:Name: Alternanthera reineckii Common Name: Roseafilia (pink) Family: Amaranthaceae Continent: South America Height: 25-50 cm Width: 10-15 cm Lighting: Medium-very high Temperature: 17-28 °C Hardness: soft-hard pH: 5-8 Growth: Medium Demands: Medium Has a purple color underneath the leaves that gives a pleasing contrast to the normal green plants in any tank, especially when planted in small groups. The more light in the tank, the more chance of the leaves turning red. Most of this species are demanding but not so much with this plant which is quite undemanding. Easy to propagate by nipping off the bud and replanting.
