Whats your opinion on dyed fish? Have you ever bought them or would you buy them? Personally i think its awfull and i would never buy them. Could you just imagine the pain and stress they go through,Around 80% of dyed fish die or they will have a very short lifespan. Below are images of dyed fish

I have to admit we have 2. but when I got them I had no idea that anything was amiss. I was a fish virgin, it wasn't untill later when I started looking for info on them(the store called them Blue tetra) and couldn't find any, that I posted a pic on another fish board. thats when I found out. We have a Chinese restaurant here that has a tank, with blue and pink tetras. All colored. Ours just have a blue stripe down their side.

Well dying and tatooing fish is a horrendous practise and should never be adhered to by fish keepers, but if people keep buying them, these evil people will keep mistreating these poor fish. Now hers's something even more disturbing that is going on in the hobby. These are fish witch are known as love heart parrots, There is also some reports they are doin the same thing with dicus. this is how they do it. This is a totally sick and vile practise, and really should have something done about it.
