(looks like its blind). the gold around the black iris looked like it had all risen to the top of the eye its also gone into hidding in a corner behind a log. have checked all water stats and all check OK. i havnt done anything strange or different or added anything new. has anyone ever come across this b4.?

does his eyes look anything like this if so then it maybe cloudy eye or pop eye which can be treated with interpet no 9 internal bacteria medication.

hard to say. definitely a film over the eye but first time seen this. eye does seem to be poped out slightly and the gold seems to have moved up to the top of the eye. would it be worth giving interpet 9 a try?

Is he being bullied. That can be a sign of stress. Watch the other tank mates and see if they are attacking him. They might have paired off and are ready to spawn. If not try interpet no 9 or Myaxin by Waterlife.

have been told it is popyeye cloud eye. as in karens picture above. but looks different apart from the cloud across the eye and all the gold around the iris seems to have moved to the top of the eye and no colour at the bottom of the eye.have been given melifix (api product) to try to fix the probem.its anti bacterial remedy. will keep you informed as to how we get on. only other thing is that it is the female of the 3. but they are always chasing around the tank like 3 lunatics.

have you considered getting more females that may calm them down a bit and take some stress off of the sick one.

I would say its a male that has been bullied because the others have paired off. There Centrals and not like Africans. One male and one female should be fine together. If I`m wrong then I apologise

It just cures things that will heal itself. A broken tail will heal itself anyway..
