The corys are laying thier eggs now as i speak. Never got to see them doing it the last time. they are swimming around frantically after the female, never seen them this energetic before. And there seems to be alot more eggs than the last time.

Well, it's day two after the egg where laid, I have one of those long air stone u can shape to your needs, i have that going half way around the tank so most of the eggs are getting airated. No fungus sighted this time around. I have resisted the urge to use methylene blue and hopefully i won't need to use it. as it is harmful for your bacteria on your filter.

Yesterday i thought i was heading for disaster because some of the eggs were starting to grow fungus on them. so i added some methylene blue hoping this would help. and late last night i had some fry hatch out of the eggs. I think there maybe 40 to 50 fry. i have put some carbon in to soak up the methylene blue and I'll do water change every day till it gone. This is the first time i have got egg layers to breed and produce fry. :bu:

Most of the fry are free swimming now i have been putting in some drops of liquifry in every day since the egg where laid. There is alot of planarians on the glass since putting in liquifry. Also feeding microworms. They seem to love both of these. I haven't tried to hatch any brine shrimp eggs yet, because of the methylene blue in the water, I'll do another couple of water changes and give it a try. But for now the fry seem to be doing fine.
