They are doing great, there about 4 weeks old now, i have been feeding them microworms and bbs. Been trying to feed some powered flake but they don't seem to be interested in it. Anyone know why?

Its hard to get fry of microworms ,just try to persevere they will come round id keep with the microworms for a bit longer,if you can, what i do is wait till they are a bit older then don't feed for a day then give the flake

I was told on another forum that i should presoak the flake because it expands in water. and u don't want it expanding in the frys stomachs and causing damage.

Just a wee update, lost a few of the runts of the litter this week, but the rest of the fry are doing fine, about half of them are about half an inch in size. The others are smaller but still growing. They are eating flake food now, but I'm still feeding microworms and brineshrimp for the smaller fry.

Most of them are about 3/4" now and they are feeding on just about any food i give them. There not fussy eaters now. They are very lively, swimming around shouling and when there is food in the tank they route around furiously till its all eaten. I'm very pleased with thier progress, they are getting on great.
