Got home from work today again to find that my angles have eaten all the eggs :crys: they were guarding the egg as well. I think if they are too intimidated by the other fish they will eat the eggs, But on the plus side i now know i have two angles that have paired up and can breed them when i choose too.

My angels have spawned again. thats barely a fortnight since the last time they spawned. Just wasn't expecting them to spawn so soon again. Anybody know how often they do spawn?

Got some good news :woo: , My angels spawned on early friday morning on a old filter i had left in the tank lying at a angle. i have just noticed that the eggs have hatched. The parents must have picked them up one by one and moved them to the top of the sponge filter at the opposite side fo the tank. There is about a 150 fry maybe.

That was about once every fornight they spawned. I'll have to dig out out my hatcher tomorrow and start cooking up some brine shrimp for all those hungry little fry.

As it happens i do! They just became free swimming today. The parents have become really aggressive now. The male tried to take a bite out of the back of my hand when i was changing out the brine shrimp hatcher, ouch :bigsm: I'm going to have my hands full hatching brine shrimp for all these fry, there is maybe 200-300 fry
