Its been quite a big job hatching all the brine shrimp for them. I was using my hatch'n'feed hatcher that goes inside the tank but because i have been using it constantly a layer of slim has build up inside it even though i have tried my best to clean it. The eggs just stick to the slim and don't hatch. I already had a hatcher i made out of a plastic bottle running but i had to make another plastic bottle hatcher to replace the hatch'n'feed hatcher. Even taught the ball'n'chain how to feed the fry with brine shrimp, so they are getting a feed while I'm at work during the day.

They are doing a great job, there very protective of the fry. I can't put my hand in the tank without getting bite or rammed by the parents. I lifted the hood on the tank just a couple of hours ago to feed the fry, my hand was about a foot or so away from the water and the male leaped out of the tank and rammed my hand. I got the fright of my life. :fun: I didn't realise Angels were such good jumpers.

I think there could be at least a couple of hundred fry, I had a guppy that gave birth to over a hundred fry. At the time i thought it was infertile because i had the fish for over a year and in all that time there where no fry. But one morning i got up to find a huge cloud of guppy fry in the tank. It must have been saving them up.
