Hello Martin, i think you ment sea monkeys. These are Artemia nauplii or brine shrimp. Your fish would love them, or any other live food.

I ordered a hatcher yesterday. Has anyone had any experience with them?

ive also heard of people buying sea monkeys and feeding them to their fish and the fish seem to enjoy them.but you may have problems with them getting sucked into your filter if their not eaten quick enough.

u buy these things as eggs, hatch them in the hatcher. then feed the tiny baby brine shrimp to fry or adult shrimp to larger fish.

sea monkeys are close relatives of brine shrimp, but are a different species.
btw, if anyone is interested in brine shrimp eggs, i've got 30g for sale atm at 90p per 10g + p&p starting form 60p to UK first class and 55p second class.

I don't have any fry at the minute, I was just testing it to see if i could get the hatcher working. It's one that sit's in your tank and the baby brine shrimp swim out of it themselfs.
