Do i have to wait till my fishless cycle is over or can i put them in it my tank before or during?

hi fishgirl, depends on what plants you going to put in. if you going for the hardy plants put them in now, but wait a week or so if you re going for the more tempremental plants.

ok lets start t the begining: what lighting do you have? do you know what plants you want? do you have an idea how many you want? do you want lightly plnted or heavy planted tank?

ok lets start t the begining: what lighting do you have? do you know what plants you want? do you have an idea how many you want? do you want lightly plnted or heavy planted tank? 2 38W bulbs i don't want it to be heavily planted. I like twisted vallis and java fern anything else?

ok then the java will fit in well with the next set of plants of choice.
any of the larger of the echinodorus(sword type) plants: macrophyllus: bleheri (paniculatus) subalatus also ''ozelot'' one of the easy colored plants, (i will post a pic of this later for you) also anubias bateri var. barteri.
the above are tall plants that will fill out the rear of your tank.
to match with the rear try anubiaus va, nana for the foreground.

Do i have to wait till my fishless cycle is over or can i put them in it my tank before or during? Adding plants will help your tank to cycle because you are buying them from a lfs that has them in an already cycled tank and those plants will have nitrifying bacteria living on them.

Like jp says b4 you cycle. Their will be bacteria on them.
