i need to move a chinese algae eater to another tank but cant catch him in the net and am now stressing other fish out and i am trying to catch him for 20 minuthes.anybody got an easier way of catching it?

Try a pint glass in the water with some food in it wait for the fish you want to go in, then put the net over the entrance of the glass,it works for me every time..good luck lol

I always use two nets with mine. Still hard to catch him. But it does make catching him a bit easier.

I always use two nets with mine. Still hard to catch him. But it does make catching him a bit easier. I use the same method any time I have to net a water kid. It does make it a bit easier.

try catching him when the lights are out

try using two large nets as jackpike said it always works
