would a female betta be harrased in a community tank?

it's much more likely to be the other way round lol female bettas are mean little things (although i have had some very peaceful ones as well) but just immagine a male betta who's in a bullying mood and doesn't have to worry about his fins... you're getting there lol i've had female bettas who killed all gups on sight, but i have also had others who could be trusted with the smallest of fry. an average female IME is a nipper, but not too bad and very lazy when well fed.
so depending on the species in the tank, you might have to worry about the others more then the bettas.

danios? 1 or a few female bettas will not be a problem with a group of 6+ danios, so there's nothing for you to worry about in this case
