I have a Hagen Fluval 204, I think they are excellent filters, easy to use, easy to clean. And u can put any filter media u wish in it. I have bio-balls and marbel chips in mine.

:tre: :tre: I have 5 fluvals, 1 304 and 4 404 for my tanks. I have to say never had any problems with them.Cleaning is a snap and parts are handy to come by if any thing does go wrong. They do a good job. but thats what you pay for. Only one thing i have to say is restarting them can be a job. I use a powerhead now to pump the water in2 the intake hose, so happy days it take just a few seconds that way to get them running again. Penn plex are a waste of time as you can not get parts for them. Eheim are good few friends use them so only going on their word. hope that was a help.
