I found these pics while browsing, they were in a Hong Kong fish shop, I couldn't believe how heavily the tanks were over stocked with gold fish and BP's although the neons looked cool, Still they must lose a lot of fish of have a very big turn over to be able to stock like that.

Wow... The middle fish are gorgous!! maybe they just get seperated here and sent on to other Stores!

It does seem a bit extreme alright, i dont think i have ever seen the lfs like that.

id say their way over stocked, hopefully they sell very quick.

Apparently in Hong Kong they have a massive turn over of fish, and sell one like every 5 mins or so, Still i wouldn't like to be the poor fish at the bottom of the tank when feeding time comes around. Then again they probably feed them very little as the tanks would get poluted very quickly.

have seen that in real life... it might look bad, but then consider that the filters on those tanks are much larger then your average pond filter and the water turnover is as much as 25-40 times per hour! also do remember that these are only short term homes.
