after all the messing about the other week with the latrate i now have to much iron in the tank and in keeping with my name i have loads of green algae. i need to clean out the tank asap. if i use the new tank i have and transfare fish and decor to the new tank while i strip the old tank will i cause to much stress on the fish? ?

No you shouldnt cause too much stress how long will you have to move them for?

hoping to have it all done in a day by moving the water over to the other tank, then the fish, remove everything from the tank to clean and then put everything back in again. well that the way im planning to do it :l:

I would refil the new tank with fresh water and kick start it with some bio med from your established tank.
Squeeze the filther pads from your established tank into the new one. Or you could place the pads in a bucket with an air stone until you have the tank running wiht dechlorinated water.
