good pics jp. the macro button most defo helps on the digi cameras. lets you get right up close. you should also have diff settings for the flash, try the diff modes on the flash and see the diff they all make to the same pic. you will be suprised.

Aye I know, two of those pictures u can see the reflection of the flash. I can lower the power of the flash with this camera, I'll give it a try.

if you can rest the camera on a solid surface and turn the flash off you will also get the true color of the light in the tank which the flash takes away.

The 4th picture is a male dwarf gourami, And my angles are are maybe just over 4inch tall. The reason u have never seen my fish is because i was never able to get a decent picture of them before. I now have a much better camera so u will be seeing alot more of them from now on.
