I quite like the Juwel aquariums. They come with a heater which fits inside the internal box filter which is also included. The light bar and flaps included fit snuggly on top, making them neat, tidy and professional looking aquariums.

have to agree with jp on that one, i am now on to my second jewel tank and so far had no probs, they realyare neat & compact with everything in them. even if you want to expand you can like i have just taken out the internal on the new 240 so i have more space and going to fit an external. will post pics of that later. the 60 is what i have and soon out grew it wanting to grow more plants.

Ive got to agree with the lads here i do like aqua el's tanks and i have too of them but their a bit of a pain especially when you need to do something in your tank the hassel of it all.I would either go with a jewel or a rio both nice tanks.

Hi fishgirl.i too am very fond of the juwel range.if going for 1 i would strongly reccomend the rio range, say the rio125(125ltrs)as they have a far better lid system making access much easier than with the rekord range they do.i found it a real hassle trying to get into my rekord 70,whereas the rio is no prob at all.the rios are dearer though, but worth it ,i feel.the rio125 is 81x36x50cm,comes with cabinet in either beech, dark wood or black, with or without doors. good luck with your choice.

another quick thing, the rio 180 is not much dearer than the rio 125 and of course gives you more choice of fish to keep. don't forget to shop around,a quick online check here in dublin on 2 sites shows 1 has the rio 180 with cabinet for 380euro,the other has it for 667euro!! good luck with your choice and keep us posted.

I have noticed some big price differences in the same rios but just different shops its amazing but i think i will go for a rio they seem to be lovely tanks.
