Just got three of these this afternoon at brittas.Lovely corys, very similar to the corydoras adolfoi, but with a dark gill. They are C121,havnt looked them up on net yet,but they are apparantly not long discovered, not even in my corydoras Aqualog. Havnt got round to photographing them,so have cheated and put in the following link. www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/image.php?image_id=5196

hi jp,i think they were 12.95ea,or 3 for 30euro.i usually buy corys in 3's,so was a good deal.they are actually a nice wee specimen,i think i may have found them in the aqualog, under the name c.burgessi. a guy picked up my bag from the counter by mistake and took 3 of them.i think he only has marine,so hope he can get them back to shop,or to somewhere a bit less salty.

2nd 1 died last night,3rd was dead this morning.2nd and 3rd had internal red patches behind anal area, not visible before death.could be haemorrhaging? the shop i got them in is very good, the manager has already contacted me.i wouldnt be one to complain, these things happen.i think we are lucky that so many fish do well being taken from their natural habitats and plunged into all manner of tanks.not everyone takes as much care as a lot of us.

yeah, second two had red internal marks behind anal area.shop water was 6.5ph,mine is about 7.5,plus they had a bit of a rough trip,2hrs in car, being wild caught, they probably wouldnt have appreciated that too much.theres a photo over on the other forum of the 2nd dead 1.

I replaced the 3 with 3 more today. The shop looked after me.Was good of them as I put it down to being my fault, not theirs.I went straight home this time, and slowly added a glass of tank water every few minutes, once again, that golden word of fishkeeping, patience, and very slowly acclimatised them. The trip itself was only a third of last weeks time.5hrs later they are very active, and have devoured some bloodworms.A lot livelier than last week,so fingers crossed. Thanks to all for your ideas and help.
