I use Safe Water and it is excellent. I have used Cycle but don`t like using it in a tank with fish. I have used Safe Water when I had high nitites and and they were gone the next day.

I think they do work with repeated use over a short period of time, but it doesn't with just one dose.

I think they do work with repeated use over a short period of time, but it doesn't with just one dose. I did not mean I did 1 magic dose. The tank was a new tank and was being cycled I had fish in the tank and my nitrites were a little high. The Safe Water removed these over night. Don`t be too quick to jump the gun. Ask before you make an assumption.

I was just stating my personnel experience with using cycling products to cycle a new aquarium. And u are right one dose will help with a nitrite spike but imo one magic dose doesn't cycle a new tank. I don't seem to remember quoting your post in my post, maybe u should follow your own advice "Don`t be too quick to jump the gun. Ask before you make an assumption. "
