Since getting my headstanders i have noticed they dont eat they just stay in their group and ignore the food i feed,is there a certain time of day they like to be feed?they dont look sick or anything.

mmm...ive never kept headstanders b4 what food are you feeding them?maybe they dont like what your feeding them?

i try feed them flakes,bloodworms and daphina but they dont touch it.

no certain time of day to feed fish but do try to feed same time each day this way your fish will recognise you when you approch and realise its feeding time. my lot go off thier heads when i come home from work cos they know its time for food. karen would be the best person though on what they eat best as she keeps them herself.

Fishgirl i found headstanders to be very picky and very shy fish,when i first got mine they also never bothered with flakes they would just ignore them but i did discover they loved catfish pellets and would only eat when lights were out so maybe you could give that a try.

strange fish i have i think lol i noticed last nite them moving from their group and picking at the food i didnt think they would be able to see in the dark :arg:
