Hi Kelly, I put any frozen food into a small plastic tub and float it in a corner of the tank. Within 10mins the food is thawed and at the same temp as the water so the fish have no probs with digestion

similar to dumpystig,i have a few wee shot glasses that i scoop water out of tank, defrost them in it,then pour off excess water down sink, this helps to reduce possibility of any polution, particularly with bloodworms.

Ive always defrosted mine before i feed them to my fish but i do know lots of people that feed them frozen i suppose it wouldn't take long for them to defrost anyway in the tank.

I have always put frozen food straight in to the tank for adult fish and its never caused any problems, it defrosts very quickly. But i have always defrosted the food before feeding fry because i feel that frozen food might cause them problems because of thier smaller size.
