Today i took the plunge and filled my new tank and so far so good no leaks YET. I'm play sand as a substrate thats about all i have in my tank so far,i'm not sure which plants too use yet.Now down to cycling i want to go the prawn route now my questions. How many prawns do i use? how often do i change the old prawns or do i leave the same ones in the whole time?Do i do water changes during the cycling period? How often do i test my water?

I have never used the prawn method, but i would think just use one prawn and leave it in the tank too rot away.
