Theres snails in my tank, ive took them out, will there be more and if there is how do i keep these out?

Have you bought plants latley they might have been on them. I would put a cucumber in your tank and they will all go for that and then take it out and all the snails will be on it or you could try snail away by interpet. Have you got any fish that will eat them?

not the best thing! anti snail chems will harm plants and sometimes fish... before you use it, i recommend you think about whether the snails are doing you or your tank any harm? i keep over 9 speacies of snail with over 25 colour morphs & i have never had any problems with them (not even with population controll)

I also wouldn't use the snail away stuff, ive seen this in use before and its not good in my opinion.

usually on plants. I personly don't use chemicals on snails. I have clown loaches who love to eat them.

Start checking around the top of your tank at water level. The snails like to lay eggs in that area. If you find the eggs remove them. The snails that come in on your plants multiply quickly. If you don't want to buy fish that will eat the snails you can get a glass container, put a veggy like cucumber (sp) in it and the snails will go to it to eat. Remove the whole unit when you have the snails in it. Will take a little time but, should help get rid of them.
