Hey all. Ive have been treating a molly for fungus for about a month now, it just doesn't seem to go for to long, as soon as i stop treating her it appears again. im treating her with esha 2000, she is very old and maybe this has something to do with it, anyone any suggestions how to get rid of this? Water stats are good Ammonia 0 Ph 7.8 nitrite 0 nitrate 20

do a large water change (20-40%) add aquarium salt at tea spoon/gallon every few hours till you reach a sg of 0.007-0.010 and a few days later do a double dose of eSHa 2000 in the mean time, keep doing 10% w/c every three days
this probably does have something to do with the age. but even a nitrAte of 20ppm is not good. you realy want to try getting it down to 5ppm by adding plants to the tank. it could also be the result of bulling. got any large, boistrous fish in with her?

I would also say it has a lot to do with age, when they get old they cant fight the diease as well.

Have you tried the interpet fungus treatment?

in my experience the interpet anti fungus is rubbish... eSHa 2000 works much better
