What people don`t realise is that fungus is usually the secondary problem. Most of the time it`s bacterial. Fungus will grow on dead flesh. Mollys are brackish fish and should be kept as so. A good salt bath should clean him up. 6.5 t/spoons of aqaurium salt to five litres of tank water. Leave him in it for about half an hour. Usually you bath 3 times dily for 3 days for external parasites but if it is just body fungus( Saproneglia) it should clear up after one bath
