hi gearoid i know that these fish are prone to hole in the head disease, the fish will develop small, Grey, pin-hole abrasions around the eyes and head then if its left the holes get bigger but you probably know this already, when did you first notice this?? you never said what your water stats where?! is it 10 serums you have in the same tank?? if so it could of had a good hiding , anthony&orca keep this type of fish im sure they do they are the best ones to talk to

Start off with a course of Octozin. What are you feeding them. There is some debate as to wether HITH is caused by parasites or insufficient or poor diet. Personally I think it a combination of both. The Octozin should do the trick. Give your fish a varied diet. Spinach/Krill/Prawns as well as the normal fish food.

Its a female sev, and she has been breeding alot over the last few months so she could be run down. It only seens to be this one fish. she was eating tetra dormin,flake food,blood worms, prawns, sweetcorm,Cucomber. but i have been away and the other half has been feeding them just the first too, Did a 40% water change last nite and will do 10% each nite see if there any inprovment
