No i wouldn't think so but they do rest, i think if they did sleep they would br dead.

they do sleap. they've actually got all their meditation sorted out pretty well! what most do is blank their minds and rest

looks like this topic is very debatable, can anyone find out for sure? I think they would have to do some kind of sleeping.

yes, i read in New Scientist a few months back that it has been proven that they do sleep (see my previous post for more details)

I have read that they do sleep. Its not what we would consider sleep, but they do enter some kind of inactive state, but they are still aware of their surroundings. Its sounds like to me it would be more accurate to say that fish daydream.

They go into a semi-concious state. Some fish have to keep swimming or they will die.
