If your house heating doesn't rely on electricity then turn up the heat to were u keep the temperture of your tanks, Otherwise. Put blankets over your tanks, helps keep them warm. If u can heat water, make up some containers with warm water, not boiling water inside and float them in your tanks, be careful not to over heat the tank water. If u have a battery air pump use it to keep the aquarium water aerated or manually move water around your tanks every so often, helps to keep the water aerated. Your filter media needs to be supplied with aerated water as well. Put the media into a bucket and pour water from your aquarium over the media every 30-60 minutes. Of course this requires you to be there the whole time and it could be alot of work. but it will help to stop any problems during and after your power cut.
