I think i have a pregnant neon. How do i know when its ready to give birth and what will i keep their fry in? will the fry be small than mollie fry and will adult neons eat them??

Well, first your neons need to spawn... then the eggs need to be saved from the adults and only then they can be hatched... Click here for a profile

If it has fattened up, it will be full of eggs, get your neon tetras into a tank by them selfs. and u might get lucky

Can you post a picture of your neon? i wouldnt be a 100% that it is pregnant.What does its body look like and does its scales prutrude from its side?

i dont think she is pregnat now but i do think its sick,its stopped eating and it just sits at the bottom of the tank and its body looks really huge. Karen,i did look down from the top of the fish and its scales are really sticking out what should i do??

jon you seem to be having serious problems with your tanks at the moment. Can you post your water stats please and can you tell us what stock you have in your tank?

its a 100 liter tank with 20 neons 10 black neons 1 silver gourami 1 sucking loach 4 corys some big plec and some snails. i will test water later none of the rest of my fish seem sick
