I had some crosses ages ago. The crosses are much bigger than the endler, and the colors on the crosses are much more paler compared to the real endlers. I think takes a lot of reading on this fish to understand the difference, some times , The Males reds, blues and greens in this fish are very vivid, the females seems to have a gold tint to there body also the caudal fin(tail) is much more elongated, than a cross its is very hard to get hold of the real thing!! but there are some brilliant web sites out there that will explain in more detail ,Armando Pou has a brilliant collection on a web site , also pr.John Endler , Adrian HD if your interested ,they are a brilliant little fish , here is one of Armando Pou collection members.cox.net/newcomb1/armando.html
