Do you leave your plants in the pots or take them out? I always use to take them out, but i find them easier in the pots.

I always take them out of the pots, most of the time when i buy them their not in pots anyway.

it's best to take them out of the pots and to remove all the wool... unless you've got digging fish when i prefer to remove the wool and re-plant the pllants back into the pots using medium gravel.

I find them to be alot of hassle in pots keep floating to the top, its hard to keep them grounded in pots.

I like to take mine out of the pots (if they come in one) so they can send runners out and populate the tank more. Of course be careful as some can over run your tank if not careful.

I always take them out too. When I set up my tank I added a layer of aquatic compost Sandwiched between two layers of white soft sponge filter with substrate above and below. I can easily plant into this and I've had great results.
