do anyone use moss peat under their stones?im wondering would it be better at keeping my plants down??

dont want to sound rude but i wouldnt use moss peat unless you seriously know what your doing. it will lower you ph for starters and if not kept under the gravel it will float around the tank and make it more like an amazon tank. just what i would like. also if you have digging fish in the tank they will also dissturb the peat and have it all over the tank. sorry if this is not what you want to hear. depending on how many plants you have and type there are other ways to be use to keep plants down.

I would have to agree with mr algae kelly you really need to know what your doing.If you take a look at the floating plants thread you posted you have a few suggestions in there that may help you.
