have a look at the plant section here that will give you a few ideas. i suggest you do a bit of reading on plants b4 you get them because some can grow very large and the water stats have to be suitable as well. just shout if you need help. :sm:

both of these plants fall in the medium profiles but are realitively good plants to grow in most tanks. the better the light the better the color will be on the Alternanthera reineckii (red plant) once you have checked out your water stats you will now a lot better what type of fish and plants are more suited to your tank. the grass type plant grows out runners when it is srttled in a tank and grows well.

first & formost nitrIte & ammonia must be at 0. pH 6.2 = you have soft water. nitrAte soso. could be a little lower but keep watch that it doesnt go any higher.

the first thing is NOT to panic and start throwing alsorts into the tank. let the tank take its corse. if you can get something like nutrafin cycle (every one has thier own prefference on this) it will help cycle the tank.

what i would do is to check the stats every time before you do a partcial water change, over the next week you should see the stats reducing down.

thats good news. i can feel the smile on your face as you were writing the last post. its difficult at first when things arent moving quick enuf for you to see any results but when you do see them changing its all worth the waiting and time and effort you put in.
