i got some of those plants a few weeks ago but now their dyeing i think. their going all brown and falling apart i dont leave my lights on for 12hours would that be a problem?

this plant does need med/high lighting fish girl, not all taks need 12 hrs light but anything that is med/high will require that bit extra. most tanks could get away with 10hrs but with plants i would suggest 12 at least. if you have it in a corner or under a larger plant i would move it out so it is more directly under the strongest part of you lights. also depending what else you have in there try doseing som ferts and see how it goes. lets know how you get on.

i know the type you mean. the grass wont grow that high to cover the background i that sense, you be better moing them to the centre if poss and putting in something like swords at the back that dont requre a lot of light..

I think i may have the same tank as you its a pearl 60 by aqua el I would put anything under the filter box as nothing under there any light,what i would do is just buy a background for it it wouldnt look as bare then,as for ferts i would add them to my tanks once a month.

yeah thats the tank i have.i will move those plants right now then and when i do my next water change i will add fertilizer.will i add fertilizer every month then after that?

well i have sinced moved all the plants from under the filter box and added firtilizer so hopefully they will look better soon.
