Nice guppies i think the first one is definitely pregnant im not sure about the second one.

they both have a gravid spot so id say their pregnant

yep thats it. generally the bigger and darker,the nearer she is to giving birth

Does that go for all breeds? Cos I've got a VERY round Hi-fin Platty and Gold Molly yet neither have the gravid spot, and the Hi-fin has already dropped about a month ago

not too sure,as far as i know,it is mainly just the guppies,the females being transparent.i think with the plattys and mollys,they have more colouring,so you wouldnt see the spot

all livebearers have gravid spots but you can only see it in guppy's.
